Founded by Maelina Hassel, Hassel House LLC is a Los Angeles-based production design studio specializing in editorial, commercial, live set design, music video, short film, and feature productions.

Maelina Hassel (she/her) is a qualified Production Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator, Prop Stylist, and Creative Director working freelance in the Entertainment Industry.

Maelina kicked off her design career in London, UK circa 2018. After falling head-over-heels in love with PD, she has since acquired a degree in design and years of experience learning from the best in the business. Whether it’s managing six-figure art budgets or getting resourceful to bring passion projects to life, she looks forward to the next world-building adventure with the visionary creatives of LA and beyond.

Outside of work, Maelina spends her time absorbed by nature. Backpacking, rock climbing, photographing landscapes, and floating in the ocean are her favourite ways to stay inspired and energized.
